Developed by Diane Littel, Earth Spirit Medicine™ is an immersive training program rooted in animism and inspired by shamanic concepts. This unique program is designed to help individuals cultivate a profound and meaningful connection with the Earth, encompassing elements like plants, crystals, rocks, trees, animals, and the unseen, as well as fellow humans. ESM™ goes deeper than ordinary connection; it invites you to perceive your place within the grand tapestry of existence. The way you perceive the world around you will transform, your feelings and awareness will deepen, and you'll develop a profound knowing. This training will bring you into closer harmony with the spirit of the Earth, unveiling the language of Gaia, the whispers of the animals, and the wisdom of plant life. By embracing ESM™, you'll learn to listen with your heart and spirit, your "blood memory," and journey to other realms. Each participant will gain a heightened understanding of the significance of ceremony and sacredness, aspects of our connection with the Earth that have been forgotten or overshadowed by colonization. Throughout this 12-month exploration, ESM™ delves into shamanic and natural traditional medicine concepts. You'll discover breathwork, engage in spirit dances, craft "bundles" or "mesas," and discuss how to create tools such as shamanic shields, rattles, and drums for your ESM™ practice. The program extends to working with elementals, scrying, drumming, and encounters with mythical beings and celestials. Classes will be held on the 3rd Sunday of most months, with adjustments for holidays or special events. Each class starts at 10 am and typically runs until 4 pm. The first three/four classes will be indoors, followed by outdoor sessions to facilitate a deeper connection with the Earth, plants, trees, and elementals (weather permitting of course). The last few classes will also be held indoors because of the weather. Commitment and Certification: This is a 12-month commitment, with each training being sequential and building on the previous class. Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate and participate in the graduation/initiation ceremony. Each class is $150. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required for the first class in February to secure your spot in the training. If you miss a class, you'll be invoiced a $75 fee for that day. If you miss a class you can make it up, cost is $175 per make up class.
